Fleet Online AirSide’s web based reporting package provides fleet managers with powerful, real-time management over their entire fleet. The system provides a range of features to manage equipment settings, operator access, generate reports to analyse and improve fleet safety and productivity, track equipment and status with GPS positioning, all from the desktop.

Driver Verification

In built card reader to ensure that only authorised and accredited drivers are operating equipment. Operators must first scan their ID card and if approved will be able to operate the equipment. Existing on site ID cards can be integrated to work with Fleet Online AirSide, including ASIC.

Pre-Start Checklist

Based on legislative compliance and business policy, an operator must complete a series of checks prior to equipment being operated. This enables the operator to conveniently flag any unsafe aspects on the equipment at their fingertips. Management is notified promptly of any exceptions via email and equipment can be electronically locked out dependent on type of exception, leading to a safer, more efficient working environment.

Safety Interlocks

Prevent equipment from being operated unless sequence of interlocks are complied with, some examples are:

  • Seat – operator must first sit in the seat.
  • Seatbelt – operator must next fasten seatbelt before they can operate equipment.
  • Handbrake – if the operator attempts to leave equipment without applying the handbrake, warning buzzer will sound and unit can be shutdown.

Transmission Control

Prevent operators from changing direction at speed or at high RPM, significantly reducing mechanical shock and premature tyre wear. Promote good operator behaviour and pedestrian safety by ensuring smooth, controlled change of direction.

Engine Monitoring

Monitor critical engine performance information (Oil Pressure, Coolant Level & Temperature, Transmission Temperature etc) and initiate emergency shutdown to prevent costly engine damage. Receive real time alerts via email. CANbus, Digital and Analogue input capability.

Engine Shutdown Timer

Reduce dangerous emissions and costly fuel burn, Engine Shutdown Timer will shut off the engine if the equipment is left unattended for a pre-determined configurable period. Save fuel and increase the safety of your workplace.

Intelligent Speed Control and Zoning

Intelligent speed controls ensure the equipment cannot exceed pre-set max speed limits for traffic management. The adaptive nature of the speed controls allow for advanced traffic management and optimum efficiencies, whilst ensuring safe travel in high pedestrian areas. The speed control systems are drive by wire and electronic compatible with adaptation to various load and incline influences to ensure best performance in any conditions.

Speed Control can be complimented with RFID or GPS based Zoning to provide variable speeds within different operational areas.

Impact Sensing

Highly accurate Impact Detection with two configurable Impact levels, one to generate an email alert, and secondary to initiate timed shutdown and electronic tag out.

Management are notified promptly of event with date/time stamp, equipment ID, operator ID, magnitude/direction of impact and equipment location via GPS. Tag out can be reset remotely via web portal or supervisor/technician access card.

GPS & Geo-Fencing

GPS provides accurate positioning of impact events, location of equipment and on screen historical tracking evidence for scheduling demands. Geo-Fencing assists with operational zoning management.

Service Scheduling and Reporting

Real time equipment activity feeds into service scheduling, from key hours to traction and elapsed time intervals. Servicing can be triggered from any of these parameters as required, and messaging can be sent to the unit to advise of servicing requirements. Eliminate unnecessary or over-servicing of equipment, reduce costs and improve overall efficiencies and uptime.

Mobile communication

Equipment activity is communicated to web based portal via GSM or WiFi, dependant on equipment application and business infrastructure available.
